The RAUTER mid cut sits halfway down the thigh, above the knee: short enough not to weigh you down when wet, long enough to sit at a restaurant table without a second thought.

The waist decides the size. The side buckles take up slack, but a waist that is too tight cannot be opened, so between two sizes, go with the larger one.

The size chart gives every measurement of the piece, in centimetres.

Salt and chlorine are the two enemies, and both work slowly. Rinse in fresh water as soon as you are out, on the beach if you can, before the salt dries into the fibre.

Wash by hand in cold water and dry flat in the shade. Hours of direct sun fade any colour, ours included, and a tumble dryer shrinks the lining.

No bleach and no fabric softener. Do not iron over prints, embroidery or buckles. Do that, and the piece comes back next season the way it left the box.
